WSDA: SCBG Deadline Less Than A Week Away
There's just a few days left to apply for the Washington State Department of Agriculture’s 2025 Specialty Crop Block Grant. This grant aims to support projects that enhance the competitiveness of Washington's specialty crops, including fruits, vegetables, tree nuts, dried fruits, horticulture, and nursery crops. Grant awards will range from $25,000 to $250,000 per project, lasting up to three years.
The application process will consist of a two-phase competitive solicitation, with concept proposals due electronically by noon PST on October 15th. Eligible entities include non-profit and for-profit organizations, government entities, colleges, universities, and more.
The WSDA is strongly recommending applicants submit their proposals a few days before the deadline to account for any potential technical issues. Questions regarding the requirements or eligibility of Washington State's Specialty Crop Block Grant Program, call (360) 485-1255.
