Big news for local farmers! A major boost in funding for specialty crops is on the way.

The Idaho State Department of Agriculture anticipates receiving over $2 million from USDA which will be awarded to projects enhancing the competitiveness of Idaho specialty crops.

Nearly $2 million will fund 13 projects across Oregon, in an effort to boost the competitiveness of the state’s fruits, vegetables, tree nuts, and other crops.
