State senator Mark Schoesler says the state House allowing the Hirst Fix Legislation to die in committee will hurt all sections of Washington.  On Monday the Ritzville Republican said lack of organization from House Democrats killed good legislation.

“They can’t get their own bill out of committee, their own watered down bill cannot get out of committee, let alone a good bill that had 28 bipartisan votes in the Senate.”

Schoesler said Senate Republicans worked hard to answer any questions that existed about the SB 5239.

“Senator Warnick went over and testified.  There were no negotiations, this is just an attack on all 39 counties in the state of Washington that have unincorporated areas.”

Despite the death of Senate Bill 5293 Senator Judy Warnick says she will still work to address the Hirst Ruling.
