After a two-year absence, Washington State University’s Lind Field Day returns Thursday June 16th, near the Lind Dryland Research station. Lyon said the field day allows growers to learn about the latest research on crops and practices. And he noted, there will be a variety of guest speakers in attendance.

“Mark Schoesler, a Washington state legislator will speak, and Washington Grain Commission’s Mike Carstensen, and Michelle Hennings with the Washington Association of Wheat Growers will also talk.”

Rich Koenig, interim dean of the College of Ag is also scheduled to speak during the Field Day. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. with field tours starting at 9 a.m.

Lyon notes a complimentary lunch will follow the tours as well as Ice Cream social.
