NASS staff continues to work on series and sub-reports focused on specific topics from the 2017 Census of Agriculture.  Those reports are expected to be released over the next year or so.  For example, coming up later this month, July 25th, a report on watersheds.  NASS’ Joe Parsons says that’s not the only water report they are currently working on.

“We’re doing a water management survey, and we’ll be wrapping the collection part of that up in the coming weeks and then we’ll move on a we’ll be publishing all of that in mid fall.  In many ways it shows the stewardship of American agriculture and how they are treating that valuable public resource of water.”

Parsons says other 2017 Census of Ag reports, such as the aquaculture report and state and national specialty crops snapshots, are scheduled to be release by the end of this year.
