NASS is conducting the 2025 Organic Survey. Survey codes are being mailed to respondents with an invitation to reply online.

According to data released Tuesday, 95% of all U.S. farms are considered family farms. That comes out to 1.9 million farms.

NASS and NRCS are reaching out to farmers and ranchers nationwide to gather information about the conservation practices they use. Nearly 23,000 operators nationwide will receive the 2025 Conservation Effects Assessment Project survey.

Starting at the end of the month, NASS will mail the Grape Inquiry to roughly 2,000 growers nationwide.
