Diesel Prices Hold Steady But Show Large Increase In Past Year
Diesel prices have held steady over the past couple of weeks. According to AAA, the national average for a gallon of diesel increased a penny in the past week to $2.61, Washington’s average dipped one cent to $2.85, while Oregon’s rate was unchanged this week at $2.67 a gallon.
While prices have moved very little recently, they remain well above where they were this time last year; National diesel prices have increased 63 cents from late February 2016; Washington’s price has jumped 67 cents; and Oregon’s price of diesel went up 69 cents
As far as your local prices, here are some of the lowest diesel prices we could find across the Northwest:
- $2.75 a gallon in the Tri Cities
- $2.79 a gallon in Walla Walla
- $2.69 a gallon in Moses Lake
- $2.69 a gallon in Yakima
- $2.66 a gallon in Wenatchee
- $2.79 a gallon in Quincy
- $2.59 a gallon in Pendleton
