
Apple Holdings Higher Than The Five-Year Average
USApple is out with the January numbers of fresh-market and processing apples; which shows a mixed bag.
As of January 1st, over 100 million bushels of fresh-market apples were in storage. While higher than the five-year average, that number is a 7% drop from January 2025.
When it comes to apples for processing, 46.7 million bushels are being held, a 7% year-over-year increase, and 14% higher than the January five-year average.
