The Walter Clore Wine and Culinary Center is accepting nominations for the Legends of Washington Wine Hall of Fame.

Executive Director Abbey Cameron said they’re trying to honor Dr. Clore’s legacy by paying it forward.

“While he helped lay a great foundation, the industry has come a long way in its 20-30 years that we’re really seen the industry blossom.”

The nominee could be a winemaker, researcher, educator, or other individual who has made a significant difference in Washington wine.

Cameron noted, “The other requirements are that the individuals are in the industry and in Washington State for more than 25 years. And that individual could be viewed by his or her peers as a legend.”

Nominations are being accepted through December 31, 2017 and the inductee will be chosen by January 15, 2018. Nomination materials are found on the Clore Center’s website.
