The annual Washington Wine Technical Group Trial Showcase is Wednesday, March 23rd at the Clore Center in Prosser.

Northstar Winery Enologist Karin Gasparotti says the event is designed for winemakers, enologists and others involved in wine making and, “The goal of the trial showcase is to basically help the industry be more educated.”

That includes presentations of WSU researchers and a winemaking review panel.

Gasparotti says the industry is evolving and always experimenting and the showcase, “Helps bring those ideas together and lets people share them. Not everyone is as brave to do some things other people do.”

There is a registration cost of $75 for members, $95 for non-members and $40 for students.
