The Northwest Wine Community will gather in the Tri-Cities next week for the 2025 WineVit Convention and Trade Show.  The three-day event will take place February 10th-12th at the Three Rivers Convention Center in Kennewick.  Colleen Frei, Executive Director of the Washington Winegrowers Association says WIneVit is an opportunity for the entire wine community to gather, talk shop, network, and connect with friends.

“From the wine grape growers and producers to the wineries, tasting room.  You also have all of the Viticulture and Enology faculty from our statewide programs, researchers. It's anyone who loves wine, supports wine, cares about wine, and what's happening in our Washington agriculture, that's what Wine Vit is for.”

Frei said as in years past, WineVit will have a thought-provoking State of the Industry session, as well as poster spotlights on the latest industry research.  But she noted, educational sessions focused on the winery side of the operation will be available as well.

“So that may be things like inclusiveness in the tasting room.  Or distribution and sales; how to get your product into the marketplace. Not just those tasting room customers who come in and take home a bottle, but even into international markets.”

Additionally, she pointed out, the Leadership & Legacy Luncheon celebrates industry leaders and legends who have made significant contributions to the Washington wine community.  And Frei said the trade show is extensive this year and will help all segments of the wine sector up their game.
