RDO, the largest John Deere dealer in the United States, is celebrating 50 years in business.  Jarrod Bailey with RDO’s Pasco location says the company has enjoyed growth in the Northwest with the recent acquisition of Evergreen Tractor, pushing RDO’s local location count up to seven.

Bailey said to mark the anniversary, they are expanding their efforts to educate customers about all of the options Green has.  He said the latest technology will be a game changer for the farmer, such as the S 700 Combine.

“A grower can get up to the edge of the field with the combine in there, and see exactly how his machines are operating.  Its leaps and bounds, everything keeps growing.  The telematics aspect of the machine, being able to see where the machine is for maintenance, see where it’s at in the fields, see where it’s at for fuel consumption, just all those things.  Help the grower better run his operation.”

Bailey noted after 50 years in business, the greatest asset RDO enjoys is the customer and strong relationships with local communities.

RDO started in North Dakota in 1968.
