
Crews Investigating Wolf Killed Near Sisters, OR
U.S. Fish and Wildlife is looking for the person or persons who killed a gray wolf in Central Oregon. Investigators say on March 10th, Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife and State Police were called to a report of a dead male gray wolf near Sisters. The wolf has been described as an adult breeding male from the Metolius pack.
Gray wolves are listed as endangered under the Endangered Species Act in the western two-thirds of Oregon.
Fish and Wildlife is offering a $10,000 reward for any information that leads to an arrest, criminal conviction or civil penalty assessment. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call:
