
Washington State University To Hold Codling Moth Field Day
WSU-Extension will hold a Codling Moth Field Day next month in Royal City. Extension officials say experts from WSU, USDA, as well as growers will focus on a variety of topics around successful codling month management in both organic and conventional operations.
Topics will include:
- Best management practices
- Mating disruption
- Drape netting
- Interpreting trap capture in different orchard management scenarios
- CpGV virus resistance and monitoring - how to monitor your orchard
- Sprayer calibration and optimization
The Field Day runs 9 a.m., to 12:30 p.m. at the Zirkle Fruit Company Orchard at 16443 Rd 9 SW, Royal City, WA
