Ag Safety Days Start Wednesday
Safety and education will be front and center at a pair of events this month in Central Washington. Ag Safety Days, put on by the Washington State Governor's Industrial Safety & Health Advisory Board, are among the largest agricultural health and safety training events in the state. Each year hundreds of workers and supervisors from across central Washington, and beyond, gather for a full day of training.
The bilingual sessions this year focus on:
- Pesticide Safety
- Tractor Safety
- Leadership Development
- And more
Yakima’s Ag Safety Day is Wednesday the 5th at the Yakima Convention Center, while Wenatchee’s event is February 26th at the Wenatchee Convention Center. And in an effort to make this event more accessible, the worker registration scholarship covers full registration & lunch as well as a $25 gas card for travel.
