According to NASS, the Northwest potato stocks as of June 1st topped out at 37.7 million hundredweight.  In Washington, the stocks totaled 13 million hundredweight, while Oregon’s stock came in a 3.7 million hundredweight.  Stocks for both Washington and Oregon increased from 2016 figures, while Idaho’s numbers decreased slightly.

 

Nationally, potato stocks totaled 55.5 hundredweight at the start of the month, up 8% from this time last year.
