The Washington Apple Education Foundation launched its new scholarship resource website this week. WAEF Executive Director, Jennifer Witherbee, said they started this project in March and the onset of the pandemic.

"The site is brand new to us. It copies some of the information that we usually provide to students in person in their classrooms.”

Witherbee says this new site is all about making sure children connected with the tree fruit industry can the resources to peruse a higher education.

"This was our response to COVID, making sure we're still able to reach students with the scholarship resources they need to stay on track with researching scholarships, making sure they get those applications in and teaching them how they can use tips and tricks to make their applications stand out.”
