USDA Offers On-line Option For Crop Acreage

Crop producers have until July 15th to submit their crop acreage report to their local USDA Farm Agency office.  And as FSA Deputy Administrator Scott Marlow notes, there is also a new option available for producers to access their farm records and acreage maps.

"If producers have logged in through farmers.gov and have an E-OFF account that's linked to their USDA record, then they can view and print and label their own maps and it just gives them a chance to get in there and do their boundaries, do more of it online, not have as much that they've gotta do once they're in the office in there.  It gives the producer a lot more ability to access those records from home."

The Deputy Administrator added an included fact sheet and video tutorials on farmers.gov can help producers learn how to use the website's farm records mapping functionality.
