While it is a few years old at this point, the University of Idaho’s MANRRS club continues to gain traction in Moscow.  Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources and Related Sciences, is a national organization focused on promoting academic and professional advancement by empowering minorities in agriculture, natural resources, and related sciences.

“It's really a great opportunity for minority students to build a network and work on professional development skills and they have a lot of fun socially as well," said Matt Doumit, Associate Dean of Academic Programs at the University of Idaho’s College of Agricultural and Life Sciences.  "It's a great organization, and really want to want to thank Northwest Farm Credit Services for helping support that club and getting it off the ground here at the University of Idaho.”

Doumit added two students this fall attended the regional MANRRS conference in Davis, CA.  To learn more about the local club, check out the University of Idaho's Website.
