The USDA’s Agricultural Research Service has released a new mobile app designed to help ranchers manage heat stress in their livestock.
Ag Engineer Tami Brown-Brandl said the app gets weather information from the National Weather Service and uses a formula to calculate likely heat stress, something she believes is very useful.
