On Tuesday, Central Washington Representative Kim Schrier announced that one of the Ag Committee’s Farm Bill listening sessions would take place in Washington later this month.  The event, “A 2022 Review of the Farm Bill: Perspectives from the Field,” looks to gather input from the farming community, as well as consumers, about what the 2023 Farm Bill should contain.

The listening session, set for Friday July 22nd, will take place at 10 a.m. at Remlinger Farms in Carnation, WA.  It will be hosted by Congresswoman Schrier and chaired by House Agriculture Subcommittee Chair Stacey Plaskett of the U.S. Virgin Islands.  This event is open to the public.

Schrier is the only member of Congress on the House Agriculture Committee from the Pacific Northwest.
