PLC and ARC Payment Rates Announced

Producers in the PLC and ARC programs have been told their payment rates for wheat, oats and barley for the 2016 marketing year.

PLC rates on wheat were $1.61 per bushel and 34 cents per bushel on oats. Barley will not get a PLC payment for 2016.

Rates for ARC producers to know when the 2016 numbers come in later this fall. Wheat rates are $3.89 per bushel, barley at $4.96 per bushel and oats are $2.06 per bushel.

All 2016 ARC and PLC payments cannot be made until after Oct. 1, 2017, or the announcement of the final 2016 MYA price for the applicable covered commodity.
