Perdue Thanks Ag Community For Participating In 2017 Census Of Agriculture

A Thank You from Ag Secretary Sonny Perdue for those who participated in the 2017 census of agriculture.

NASS conducts the survey every five years.

"And that will help inform decisions about Ag education, research, farm programs, rural development and much more over the next several years.”

Two sub-surveys from the census related to aqua-culture and irrigation water management will be conducted this winter.  The release of the main results from the 2017 census of agriculture is February, when roll-out begins with the annual USDA Agricultural Outlook Forum, and the releases of data continues through the spring.
