ODA Wants Feedback from Oregon Specialty Crop Growers
If you’re a member of the specialty crop industry in the Beaver State, the Oregon Department of Agriculture is asking you to take part in a new survey. ODA said the hope is to use the feedback to shape the future of the Specialty Crop Block Grant Program and identify the types of projects that should receive funding.
The anonymous survey takes about ten minutes to complete and focuses on:
- suggested spending priorities
- project sizes
- technological needs
ODA said “the data collected will provide a snapshot of the industry's current condition and help establish funding priorities to enhance the competitiveness of Oregon specialty crops.”
Click Here to participate. Surveys must be completed by October 1st.
According to USDA, specialty crops are defined as “fruits, vegetables, tree nuts, dried fruits, horticulture, and nursery crops (including floriculture)”
