
Oregon Looks To Fill CAFO Opening
The Oregon Department of Agriculture is seeking applicants for an open public seat on its Confined Animal Feeding Operation Advisory Committee. The committee advises ODA on CAFO program operations and proposed rule changes, bringing together industry representatives, public members, and agency advisors.
CAC meetings are held three times a year on the second Thursday of April, July, and October in the afternoon. The meetings move around the state, but if you are unable to attend in person, a virtual option is available. All CAC meetings are open to the public.
