OCA’s Mid-Year Event Visits Central Oregon

The 2018 Oregon Cattleman’s Association’s Mid-Year event gets underway this weekend in Central Oregon.  OCA Executive Director Jerome Rosa says the weekend starts with a Young Cattleman’s Tour Saturday which starts in Redmond, and moves up to Madras.  On Sunday, activities move to Sunriver for the legislative update.

Rosa said it’s always beneficial for producers, regardless of their age or size of operation to know what’s on the horizon.

“The old saying of burying your head in the sand doesn’t really do you a lot of good.  So, being informed and this is a great opportunity to get a lot of information on a lot of issues at one location.”
