The 2018 Northwest Hay Expo gets underway at the Three Rivers Convention Center in Kennewick Wednesday.  Andrew Eddie with the Washington State Hay Growers Association said they will have over 90 exhibitors in this year’s event, showcasing the latest in equipment and technology.

 

He added in addition to checking out the latest tools of the trade, the expo is a great opportunity for networking and education.

 

“You can also walk around the trade show, be introduced to industry professionals, so service people, equipment dealers, that kind of thing, University extension agents, and the educational portion, but also the event is attended very well.”

 

Eddie told the Washington Ag Network that last year, roughly 250 people came through the doors.  This year’s they are expected attendance close to 400 people.

 

Classes included at this year’s Northwest Hay Expo include:

  • Crop Insurance
  • The 2018 Farm Bill
  • The latest in Exports
  • Scholarships
  • And much more.
