Mulrony: I’m Excited About the Cattle Industry
Cameron Mulrony, the Executive Vice President of the Idaho Cattle Association says despite challenges, now is a good time to be in the cattle industry.
“Consumers are optimistic," he said. "You know, our markets look good. We have good demand. It is kind of a bright spot in agriculture right now as the cattle industry and hopefully folks, if this is the top of the cycle or we're approaching the top, they've recovered from some of the downward trends. And allows them to stay in long term.”
Mulrony added the longevity and history of the industry should give producers reason to be excited as well.
"And I really think we're going to continue on down a path to show that we are the leaders of sustainability and technology and all the things that continue to drive America, you know, they start in agriculture," Mulrony said. "We previewed the film World Without Cows and they said, “why would you bet against us now?” And I thought that's exactly right. Why would you bet against the cow man at this point in history because they've shown time and time again that they can keep moving forward and get a lot of good things done.”
Once again that was Cameron Mulrony, Executive Vice President of Idaho Cattle.
