January will be a busy month for dairy producers across the state, as the Idaho Dairymen’s Association will host a series of district meetings.  The meetings kick of Tuesday January 10th in Boise, then continue January 26th in Declo.  The IDA will move to Twin Falls on January 31st, then the series wraps up with stops in Idaho Falls February 7th and Preston on February 8th.

Idaho Dairymen’s Association CEO Rick Naerebout says he understands that time is limited, but he believes these brief meetings will be of great benefit as a new year gets underway.

"We’re just trying to get in front of our dairymen provide them updates on what's going on in Idaho's legislative session and just other pertinent topics of interest for producers that we try and get out there and have dinner with them and just talk through all those things that are happening that might affect them.”
