Hackenbruck Named OSU Coordinator-Capital Construction Project Manager
Oregon State University's College of Agricultural Sciences has appointed Joshua Hackenbruck as its new Coordinator-Capital Construction Project Manager.
A seasoned design and construction professional, OSU officials said Hackenbruck brings extensive experience in all phases of project delivery, from concept through completion. Since 2009, he has been a part of the architecture office at Oregon State University’s College of Agricultural Sciences. In 2011, his role officially transitioned to Construction Project Manager, a position in which he has frequently served as designer, project manager, and general contractor—sometimes all three on the same project.
School officials said that over the years, Hackenbruck has successfully delivered a wide range of projects for CAS departments, experiment stations, farms, and ranches—both on campus and throughout the state. These include large-scale new construction, complex remodels, highly specialized research and teaching laboratories, agricultural infrastructure, and animal facilities. His ability to deliver projects on time and within budget, while navigating permitting processes and producing construction documents, has earned him a strong reputation across the university.
OSU said the Coordinator-Capital Construction Project Manager is a vital role in maintaining and developing the college’s extensive portfolio of more than 300 buildings across Oregon.
Hackenbruck succeeds Lowell Fausett, who served in this position since 1987 and is reducing to a half-time appointment.
