CHS Harvest For Hunger Food Driving Running Now Through March 20th
In an effort to combat hunger across the Columbia Basin, CHS has teamed up with 2nd Harvest to collect food now, through March 20th.
“CHS is a global cooperative of farmers that was established to pool resources together," said Scott Stevens with CHS Connell Grain and CHS Othello Bean Plant.and I’m happy to be part of the CHS promise to feeding America.”
Jean Tucker with 2nd Harvest told the Washington Ag Network hunger is a large problem across the Columbia Basin.
“One out of seven, and that includes one out of four kids does not have enough to eat, so it’s really something the community can easily get behind and make a big difference.”
Now through March 20th:
- You can donate food at Tri-Cities Yokes
- You can also donate funds online by visiting 2nd Harvest’s Website.
