Two dairy products on the list of exports to China now seeing increased tariffs are whole and skim milk powders.  USDA World Agricultural Outlook Board Chair Seth Meyer says that was included in the July WASDE and US Dairy Exports forecast.

"We think about it on a skim solid basis some challenges there in terms of exports, NDM and whey exports are thoughts on exports of those products down a little bit in '18 and more sharply in '19, and that's the kinda stuff that China is having an impact on in terms of our exports for skim-solid basis."

Non-fat dry milk and dry whey product prices were lower for 2018 and 19 from the previous month, due in part to both Chinese tariffs as well as increased production estimates.  Yet, year over year pricing change for both dairy commodities indicate increases, dry whey up a penny in 2019, and NDM up 3-cents for the same time period.
