Results from the  2017 Census of Agriculture will be released on April 11th.

"The full report is a comprehensive summary of agricultural data for the United States, and for each state. Some of the data items include the number of farms by size and type, inventory, and values for crops and livestock."

NASS' Amanda Dawson said the report will be released in several different media formats, such as text and PDF.  And, she added there will be tools for the public to make sense of the data, which include millions of data-points from farms and ranches from across the country.

"Data users will have access to a plethora of census products, including full reports, maps, highlights, rankings, quick-stats and also queries."
