Local Dairy Farmers Encourage You To Celebrate National Ice Cream Month
July is National Ice Cream Month, and local producers are encouraging you to celebrate with a scoop, or two, from your favorite local dairy. Adrienne Allen with Victor Dairy LLC outside of Tillamook, OR, noted that her dairy, like many others, is a local business focused on helping their local schools, organizations and neighbors.
“That's what farmers are about. It's like very much about community and family and kind of like that traditional way of life that maybe people don't have as much anymore,” Allen said.
The local dairy industry is also reminding everyone if you plan to enjoy ice cream, remember that “behind every scoop is a story of local farmers, dedicated dairy families and community businesses working together”.
