Year of the Apple Art Contest

The Washington Apple Education Foundation is hosting their annual Year of the Apple Art Contest for high school students Central Washington counties.

Contestants will be competing for a grand prize of $1,000 and total prize money equaling $1,750.

The contest is open to students in Adams, Benton, Chelan, Douglas, Grant, Franklin, Kittitas, Okanogan, Walla Walla and Yakima Counties.

Each entry must be original artwork and cannot be photographs, digital images, fragile, or matted.

Last year Claire Seamen of Cascade High School took the grand prize.
