WSU’s Wheat Health, Genetics and Quality Research Unit will pause to celebrate their work next week.

 

 

WSU and USDA will be holding a ribbon cutting on a new $700,000 liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry machine and celebrating advancements made in wheat research Tuesday, March 21st at 9:00 in the Biotechnology building.

 

The partners have made, and will hope to continue to make, strides in advancing understanding how wheat and soil work together with the goal of helping farmers raise varieties that are resistant to pests and disease.

 

There will also be discussions, lab tours with the full agenda on their website.
