Wolf Shot, Killed In Oregon’s Baker County
Oregon’s Department of Fish and Wildlife are looking for the person(s) responsible for shooting and killing a wolf on BLM property in Baker County. A black female, known as OR-88, was found dead October 3rd near Little Lookout Mountain, nine miles northeast of Durkee.
OR-88 was part of the Lookout Mountain Pack, which had been at the center of several depredation investigations over recent months.
An $11,000 reward is offered for information leading to an arrest or citation. Anyone with information regarding this case is urged to contact OSP through the Turn in Poachers (TIP) hotline at 1-800-452-7888 or dial *OSP on your mobile device.
