After nearly 11 days off, water started refilling Roza Irrigation District canals Sunday.  The shutdown started May 21st, and impacted the entire district which runs the span of central Washington.  At the time of the shutdown, Roza Irrigation District Manager Scott Revell said it would allow 6,000-to-7,000-acre feet to be moved to later in the season.

Revell said everyone should have water by the end of Wednesday, June 3rd.  District officials still anticipate the irrigation season will also end earlier this year, potentially three weeks earlier than normal; the target date for the season to end is September 30th.
