Walla Walla Valley Wine will host their Summer Winemaker Dinner Series next month. WWVW’s Shelby Pryor, said this year, coming out of the pandemic, the organization wanted to focus on intimate events that could be conducted safely rather than Walla Walla Valley Wine's usual large scale tasting events.

"It's a really great opportunity for different winemakers and wineries to come together and serve their wines, not just from their line up but from their peers and from their friends, and showcase their wine next to food.”

She noted dinners will feature meals prepared by local and regional chefs. Pryor noted next month’s dinners will be very intimate with usually no more than 30 people and both dinners run from 6 to 9 p.m.

"The foods are paired with the wine from the different wineries participating in each different dinner so just a really gorgeous evening in wine country and very laidback.”
