Walla Walla Valley Wine Alliance Names New Executive Director

The Walla Walla Valley Wine Alliance has named Heather Unwin as their new Executive Director after the tragic loss of Duane Wollmuth this summer.

Unwin has been in the wine industry for the past decade with stops as Executive Director of the Red Mountain AVA and currently as an instructor for Walla Walla Community College’s Enology and Viticulture program.

In a release Board President of the Alliance Muriel Kenyon called Unwin a great asset and that, “Heather brings a tremendous amount of leadership, wine knowledge, and marketing experience to her new position.”

Unwin’s first day will be January 3^rd.

The Alliance represents more than 150 vineyards, wineries and partner members.
