Northwest growers who are considered late fiscal filers for the whole-farm revenue protection program now have until November 20th to obtain their policy for the 2018 crop year.

That’s the same date that fruit producers in the Northwest have as a deadline to file for crop insurance.

USDA’s Risk Management Agency is recommending that producers interested in either of those programs begin reaching out to their crop insurance agents as soon as possible to not miss these deadlines.

Individual yield crop insurance policies provide protection against production losses due to natural perils. The Actual Revenue History and WFRP policies provide revenue protection.
