U.S., Canada Go To WTO Over India Pulse Support

The U.S. and Canada have filed a WTO counternotification on India's market prices supports on some pulse exports, such as chickpeas.  Rod Bain said India has typically been one of the strongest destinations for American pulses, particularly chickpeas and lentils.

The WTO committee on Ag will discuss the conternotification when they next meet at the end of this month.
