The 43rd Annual Tilth Conference takes place November 10-12 in Vancouver, though early bird pricing on the conference and hotel rooms ends Wednesday, October 25th.

Sarah Collier, the Director of the Farm and Market Department for the Tilth Alliance said this year’s theme is “The Future is Abundant.”

“Which both harkens back to the roots of the tilth movement in the 70s as well as it’s what we’re all thinking about going forward as an organization and as a state and an agricultural community.”

Topics will include improved sustainability, increasing market access, innovations and much more.

Collier also noted that farming can sometimes be a bit of a solitary profession and so it’s good to get together in a social setting to learn.

“It’s a place to come and learn and network and share ideas and innovation and get inspired for the next year.”
