FSA Offers Program To Help Organic Producers With Certification
Organic producers in need of certification have a resource to help them reach this milestone.
“Producers can receive up to 75% of the cost of that certification, said USDA Undersecretary for Farm Production and Conservation Richard Fordyce. He added the up to 75% cost share, which has a $750 cap, pertains to various scopes within organic agriculture.
“The scopes are crops, wild crops, livestock, processing and handling, or state organic program fees.”
