When people think about technology on the farm, often, they think about drones, GPS, tablets and smart phones. And while those technologies have changed how a farm is operated, and how crops are managed, Angi Bailey with the Oregon Farm Bureau said technology has changed how farmers share their story.

“We all carry a phone that can take pictures, video and upload that immediately to a social media platform where you can bring people who don’t have an opportunity to wake up on a farm like I do, you can bring those people on your farm through technology and they can see what you’re doing.”

Baily said it’s important that farmers, young and old, tell their story rather than waiting for others to tell Ag’s story for them.
