The U.S. Trade Representative office recently announced it was opening a Section 301 investigation into China’s implementation of the Phase One trade agreement.
“The $285 million program that essentially doubles our investment in those trade promotion programs that help sell our products,” said Agriculture Department Undersecretary for Trade and Foreign Agricultural Affairs Luke Lindberg

The U.S. agricultural trade deficit widened further in July. Agricultural exports lagged imports by $4.97 billion in July, a gap 9% wider than a year earlier.
