Ask Jacky Davis, a leader on the Syngenta Digital Ag Solutions team, she’ll tell you she’s passionate about sustainable agriculture.  And for her, sustainability isn’t just theoretical, she understands how sustainable practices can make a positive, real-world impact on land stewardship and supply-chain transparency.  She added she understands the challenges growers face as they strive for sustainability.

“We need to find opportunities where we can reduce the burden on the grower and have them out in the field working toward decisions and their ultimate goal, instead of spending a lot of their time duplicating a lot of their effort with data entry.”

According to Davis, Syngenta seeks to streamline data entry and associated tasks for growers throughout the country.  The company provides various solutions that cut down on inefficiencies and help growers produce more with less.

“We have a whole portfolio of crop protection technologies, from seed to crop protection. We also have our Land.db software, which enables growers to enter the data of their operations. They keep track of their ROI, they’re aware of their practices, they’re able to do sustainability footprinting from that.”

Davis said the Syngenta Digital Ag Solutions team provides the tools that empower growers to implement sustainable practices and forge the future of sustainable agriculture.

"We have new technology that’s coming out that’s allowing a lot of the reduction in data entry. It’s allowing the understanding and analytical insights to play a part in the decision-making process, and I think those kinds of digital innovations will actually play a great hand in where sustainable agriculture goes in the future.”
