When it comes to the latest technology for farm equipment into 2021, Doug Seto with Central Machinery Sales in Pasco, said electronics development and expansion will remain a priority. He said for Case IH, new electronics on implements in the coming year will turn many heads.

“What they call field command, which allows the tractor and the operator to adjust the implement without manually having to make adjustments.  They can put their parameters in in the screens on the tractor and then from there, the implement will just do its thing.”

Seto added in addition to updates to implements, farmers need to watch for continual improvements and upgrades on the drills and planters, helping owners to improve efficiency in a variety of ways. Central Machinery Sales has five locations across the Northwest, including Spokane, Moses Lake, Pasco Sunnyside and Hermiston.
