Reveal Walla Walla Valley Wine Auction a Smashing Success

How popular is wine from the Walla Walla Valley? The annual Reveal Walla Walla Valley wine auction that offers the wine trade opportunities to purchase rare, not available elsewhere wines smashed their old record of money raised by 26 percent.

There were 30 auctions that drew about one dozen bidders from all over the U.S. and Canada and raised about $88,000 for the Walla Walla Valley Wine Alliance.

In addition to the wine auction, the invited guests were able to sample wines, dine on local cuisine and hear from former NFL quarterback Drew Bledsoe, now a proud winemaker.

Jaime Stratton from Jacob’s Liquor Exchange in Witchita, KS said they are always looking for the next great wine region and that, “we’ve been closely following the wines of the Walla Walla Valley for about eight years.”
