The USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service has released a report detailing wheat production, bee colonies and more.

NASS forecasts winter wheat production to jump by eight bushels per acre totaling 105,600,000 bushels, which would be about 15 million more bushels than last year.

Hard Red Winter Wheat, the country’s most productive winter wheat, jumped about 35 million bushels compared to last year.

Bee colonies, meanwhile, have already had 13,000 lost I the first three months of 2016, mostly due to varroa mite.
